Who We Are
Welcome to The Africa Fashion Studio - A collaborative retail initiative/platform of CUMO London and WAA Fashion Ltd created as your one-stop shop for unique and exclusive African Fashion pieces handmade with love in Africa by real people for stylish women. Our vision is to ensure that the vibrant and rich fashion from Africa is easily accessible on British high streets. We provide exclusive and limited-edition designs from our collections as well as organise special events (Pop up, Black Friday Sales, Christmas Shopping Party) catering to Ankara print fashion enthusiasts.
Co-owners: Chinelo Obi (CUMO London) and Annabelle Baiyewu (WAA Fashion) are passionate about Fashion from Africa but more importantly supporting ethical and sustainable fashion as well as empowering local people in Africa by creating this platform which supports local fashion businesses across the continent. In their own words “In our quest to see African fashion on a global stage, we have found that there is more that binds us together than which separates us and only by working together can we see our common goal come to fruition”.
African Fashion Studio has now found her permanent home within Wembley Park Market.
